Unsolicited Constant Phone Calls

I have received daily phone calls from the National Small Business Alliance on my personal cell phone for over a month now. When I answer my phone a computer voice tells me I am eligible for an 8k credit line. It tells me to press 0 to accept this credit line or call 1-86*-310-****. I do not want the credit, I never asked for the credit and I do not want NSBA to ever call me again. My phone number has been actively listed on the National Do Not Disturb for over a year now and I continue to get these harassing telemarketing phone pitches. What is the point, when telemarketers call anyway?

corrections to my original message: his name is Dennis Mario. Since the site doesn't want to give the e-mail address I will write it differently.

It is:

dmario(at(@)natlsba(dot(.))com. Hope that goes through!

Here is some information I have gathered regarding this scam group. It is run by a man named Dennis Maio, who is based mostly out of California but maintains Washington phone numbers as he is attempting to play off of the 'National Small Business Association' which is a legitimate group.

The 'loans' supposedly offered by this man are ONLY good for services provided from his company which are overpriced goods and services that you can get for much less at legitimate sites. This man has been running this operation for years and is very cagey. He records everything so if you are duped into signing up he can prove that you have done so. Two of the contact #'s for this man are: 202-536-**** (cell) and 202-536-**** (hopefully they haven't changed yet).

An e-mail address for him is: dmario@***.com. When calling or e-mailing be very careful what you say and how you say or word it!!! This man will come back at you with everything he has and he rarely loses. DOCUMENT EVERY PHONE CALL AND KEEP EVERY E-MAIL.

If you can record your phone calls to him - do so!!! Another good suggestion is to contact your state consumer group and contact California consumer groups and even send letters to the Governor's Office complaining about this group/man.

Maybe California will finally do something to stop him. No matter what - DO NOT EVER GIVE ANY KIND OF FINANCIAL INFORMATION TO THIS GROUP!.

You need to write down each time they call you. Date & time and what they-or the recording says.

Then call the number and tell them you are on the "do not call list". If they persist you can file a claim for up to $800 EACH time they have called you. It's legal.

You can google it. But you have to make sure you have all the info about who, what, date & time they called you and you called them to say stop.
